Pinterest Co-Founder Paul Sciarra Leaving the Company
Surprising news this week- Pinterest co-founder Paul Sciarra has decided to the leave the company. Though he will remain as an advisor, he is giving up his day-to-day responsibilities in pursuit of opportunities with Andreessen Horowitz, a firm which invested early on in Pinterest.
The move is rather intersting considering how well Pinterest has taken off the past few months, and I’m sure it’s a hard hit for the company at an undoubtedly time of growth. It would be interesting to know the motive of his move- whether there were conflicts within the company or Paul Sciarra just prefers change and the excitement of starting new businesses.
