Apple Mini-Stores in Target?
Well, Apple is confirming rumors that it would be putting mini-stores in 25 Target locations. The move seems a bit out of Apple’s comfort zone after it had declined to put locations in Best Buy for years, but if they must work with any mass retailer, Target would be the one to go with. With both brands catering to the “higher-income, younger, more modern” customer, it may prove to be successful.
Several had reported that the Apple stores would be part of the new “Shops at Target”, but this won’t be the case. Target had announced earlier that beginning in May, they would be placing boutiques in select locations that would rotate different specialty store brands.
